That was revealed in UXM #350, a story that's somewhat infamous for its own reasons: http://notblogx.blogspot.com/2009/04/uncanny-x-men-350-december-1997.htmlG. The compilation had this particular comic book and had left me wondering what happened next in Gambit and Rogues intertwined love story. While, I did some searching on the Internet of what happens and (for lack of a better word) left me displeased; like wtf baby x-men? seriously? Please say it ain't so? Could you direct me to a comic that explains what happens, and what's the big secret? And maybe your favourite comic book in this series? And it didn't do that, other than feature a vague conversation between Gambit and Sinister which, as the review pointed out, wasn't much of a surprise.

For the first time, I really felt kinda cheated by the failure to deliver SOME kind of revelation to the numerous ongoing subplots I otherwise loved.Austin Gortonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14281239771248780430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2734283773701136760.post-2750875157525005802008-09-13T12:30:00.000-04:002008-09-13T12:30:00.000-04:00And here (along with Uncanny # 326) was my last is...And here (along with Uncanny # 326) was my last issue of X-Men for nearly five years - I didn't come back to the books until Claremont's "Revolution" in 2000. I've since gone back and picked up all the missing issues of the two core X-Men titles, and realized that I didn't miss much of anything after all, lol.

That being said, despite the seemingly endless tease of Gambit's "sinful past", I did really enjoy this issue. I just wished at the time that we'd get back the Rogue I loved from the 80's, lol.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
