Makes a storyline weak and made Psylocke more inane.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17634006314727267311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2734283773701136760.post-27293725821161059162008-10-23T18:36:00.000-04:002008-10-23T18:36:00.000-04:00I think Psylocke's condition here vs. her conditio...I think Psylocke's condition here vs. her condition in the previous issue of X-Men led me to file both parts of this Crimson Dawn story before the X-Men issue.

Anyone else think Madureira just drew Wolverine and Archangel in those clothes without consulting anyone? I'd bet good money it wasn't in the plot that way.

I never liked or understood Psylocke's new powers, but I will admit to being a fan of the "mark of the Crimson Dawn" and was sorry to see it go (though it did stick around longer than I ever would have expected). I also liked the Dragons of the Crimson Dawn when they showed up in the Psylocke & Archangel limited series (or was it Archangel & Psylocke?) and then later in Excalibur (both written by the oft-unjustly maligned Ben Raab).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2734283773701136760.post-22406013417265225762008-10-23T06:32:00.000-04:002008-10-23T06:32:00.000-04:00RIP Psylocke.Interesting that the inconsistencies ...RIP Psylocke.

Interesting that the inconsistencies mentioned regarding Psylocke's condition between this issue and adjectiveless X-men were both written by Lobdell...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2734283773701136760.post-87028746807716556682008-10-22T23:19:00.000-04:002008-10-22T23:19:00.000-04:00The resolution is a full on cop out. The strongest element is Gambit contemplating letting Psylocke die, and while it's a great one, the rest has always been dull for me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
